disparate and incompatible computers, software and peripherals that are
inefficient. If you want to make the most out of your IT investment, proper
planning is vital when making any IT purchase. Through our real world businesses
and IT experience we are able to offer consultancy services that will enable
you to make the most of budgets resulting in efficient and cost-effective
systems.
Supply & Procurement
Ashleigh Consulting has forged links with
all of the major IT distributors and can offer extremely competitive pricing on
all aspects of equipment and software. We are also equally happy to advise on
purchases that you prefer to make direct with your own suppliers.
Installation
IT equipment in a business environment is a
far cry from a home computer. It needs to be installed and configured on your
network, interfacing with other shared resources such as servers and network
printers. We offer a full installation and configuration service for equipment
purchased through ourselves of via your own suppliers.
Server Management
It’s surprising how many small companies
don’t know if their backup system is working (assuming of course that they have one)! This is just one example of the
day to day management that business IT requires. We offer a full IT management
service which includes managing user accounts, ensuring security updates are
applied and anti-virus software is up to date. We also check backups on a
regular basis and advise of any problems that may arise. The majority of these
services can be provided remotely and will not affect your day to day business
(apart from making it more efficient).
Maintenance
Computers are a bit like cars. They need
regular maintenance to perform efficiently and increase their useful life.
Ashleigh Consulting offers a regular maintenance package where we will ensure
all of your desktop computers are operating with maximum efficiency. During
this process we also check that updates are applied and that there are no signs
of component failure. We even open the cases and blow out any potentially
damaging dust and fluff (you would be surprised how much rubbish the average PC
hoovers up) on a regular basis. Customers who make use of this service have
commented on the increased efficiency of their systems and our ability to
predict issues before they impact on business function.
Support
It is an unfortunate fact of life that
computer systems do go wrong. We are there to help however! We offer a ticketed
help desk support system that allows your users to log support requests. This
system automatically updates us via email that we pick up on our SmartPhones
wherever we may be. We can often help with issues remotely without having to
visit your premises. We are also available on the telephone at all times, but
we do ask that telephone support is only requested when business can no
longer continue.
In short, aim to provide the same level of
service as an in-house IT department at a fraction of the cost.
