Totally Remote - IT support made simple, effective and affordable

Small businesses can rarely afford full time IT staff, a fact that is being exacerbated by the current economic climate. Unfortunately, this means that essential routine maintenance is not performed which will affect the security, performance and reliability of your computers and network.

‘Totally Remote’ is a new service that allows us to perform the day to day tasks of on-site support staff but at a fraction of the cost.

SYSTEM MONITORING
We actively monitor all of your servers and workstations whether they are in the office or at a remote location. We are alerted if something starts to go wrong and can take remedial action via secure remote access. We also monitor the success of backups and ensure that all software is secure and updated.

SYSTEM MAINTENANCE
Maintenance of your systems is performed on a scheduled basis. This can include disk integrity checks, defragmentation, removal of temporary internet files etc. This can be performed out of business hours and we can even shut down computers when the maintenance is complete.

REMOTE SUPPORT
If something does go wrong or your staff simply want help with something, we can connect to any system monitored via secure remote access. Remote support charges are heavily discounted compared to our standard rates and are also charged in reduced 15 minute blocks, enabling us to assist quickly and cost effectively.

ASSET TRACKING
Need a detailed report of all your servers and systems including installed hardware and software? ‘Totally Remote’ maintains a complete record of everything and we can provide a full asset report at your request.

Hi David and thanks for the question. No, you do not need a server. The system relies on a small agent service being installed on each monitored machine. This enables us to support anything from a single PC to a network of hundreds of machines. Once the agent service is installed on one machine, we can then deploy it automatically to any system on your internal network. If you have any further questions, give me a ring on 01823 461491.
